Dylan is one of the most underrated songwriters alive today. The combination of brilliant lyrics, beautiful fingerpicking and perfect arrangement behind songs like this are what make him an incredible artist.

For anyone who needs a gateway into the band that is Wilco, give this a run. Very unusual chord progression that leads into an epic bridge with one of the coolest guitar solos by Nels Cline. Dynamic songwriting by Jeff Tweedy mixed with brilliant musicianship of Nels Cline and Co. make them one of the all time greats.

One of the truly great singer/songwriters of this era and deserves way more recognition. Her vocals are pure perfection but the chord structures in her songs are brilliant.

This is one of the most exciting indy bands in music today. Their music is a fusion of Cumbia and Peruvian/Cuban style rock from the 50's and 60's era with a modern flare. This is music that will make you want to get up and move!

Some of the most talented musicians out there today! These guys can flat out play and are just so damn cool. Definitely a throw back to 50s/60s style of Cuban/Peruvian rock but with their own flare. Look out for this band as they are going to be big!

Maybe the greatest vocalist of this era across this genre of music. A Masterclass in songwriting, she is going to be an all time great. Thoughtful chord progressions and structure that make this song great.

The "Los Angeles League of Musicians" aka La LOM. These guys are the real deal! Total throwback to 50's/60's style of Peruvian/Latin American rock but with their own flare. Their music is tastefully complex but also might make you get up and dance.

These guys are definitely a throwback (think Everly Brothers w/ the harmonies) and always showcase great songwriting, elegant chord progressions and masterful tone. Great example of a band that knows how to stay in the pocket and all do their part very well. Enjoy!

LA LOM (Los Angeles League of Musicians) are the real deal. They have their own unique sound that harkens back to Latin American music of the 50's and 60's.

This is an amazing song by Ry Cooder covered to perfection by the modern marvel, Joey Landreth. He is one of the greatest players alive right now.

Cactus Blossoms are from the Twin Cities and are a really cool throwback to Everly Brothers era but have a great band that can really play.
