Haven't seen an Isbell reaction in awhile so here is probably my favorite of his songs

It's John Moreland, need I say more

Evan has started to make a name for himself when he released a cover of Jersey Giant by Childers. His voice is incredible and his lyrics are sometimes heartbreaking and sometimes funny. His guitar playing is sometimes very intricate and sometimes very simple. He is overall a great artist and this is my favorite by him.

I first heard this song in a video game years back and fell in love with it. Shawn has an incredible voice and is an outstanding guitar player. He has a lot of great songs and this is his best.

I had never heard of these guys, but I saw them on TikTok and this song in particular is fantastic, the lyrics, the picking and especially the fiddle all are awesome

Most know Ryan from his role on Yellowstone, but not everyone knows how good of a musician he was first, this is his best

Had never heard of Danno before, but I listen to everything WesternAf puts out and this is incredible. Amazing story telling and some cool stuff with the guitar as well

Willi is a folk singer that demands to be heard. His songwriting is top tier and his guitar is outstanding (though this isn't his best song for the guitar, but the lyrics make up for it) His storytelling is elite and he sounds even better live. Just a great sad song from a great band, hearing this song live last week was one of the best concert experiences I've ever had

Tanner is a name that everyone needs to know. I will be seeing him open for Charles Wesley Godwin next week and I can not wait. This song along with Josephine and Come Back Home are fantastic.

John Moreland, does he need any other introduction

One of Willi's big three songs along with Tulsa's Last Magician and Cheap Cocaine. Beautiful lyrics and some great picking. Willi is an absolute treasure and seeing him live was an incredible experience.

Saw Willi live at The 8X10 in Baltimore last night and he put on a hell of a show. I have previously requested Tulas's Last Magician by him which is one of the most powerful songs I've ever heard with some amazing picking, but this is easily his next best

In my opinion the two best songwriters alive are Isbell and Moreland, this might be my favorite Moreland song simply because of how much it resonates with me. One that pretty much everyone can relate to plus you need more Moreland on the channel

Charley puts out so much music it is hard to choose one to post but this is one of his more fun songs

I know you have said before how much you love coal mining tunes this is amongst the best.

No song describes the feeling of being homesick as much as this one. An absolute show stopper of a track right in the middle of an outstanding album.

Townes is amongst the greatest songwriters to ever live and it is songs like this that show why. An absolute gut punch of a song that has helped me and many other people get through some hard times in our lives.
