Don't know what to tag these guys as. Heavy jazz-prog fusion??
This is just choas. Beautiful choas. Guitar cuts like a razor and the rhythm section will keep you on the edge of your seat.
Thanks for everything!! Much Love to all ❤️

Hey Mike/All,
Its been a few weeks since my last offering. Here's another one by King Buffalo. The audio is pretty nice on this one.
The song is from their previous album, but it still rocks! This is my favorite band and theyre on tour in Europe right now with all new material, so please go check them out if youre one of our European members!
Sean McVay - Vox, Synth/Keys, Guitar
Dan Reynolds - Bass, Synth/Keys
Scott Donaldson - Drums from Hell
Thank you so much! Love you all!!

Hey Mike / All,
The first time I posted a reacts video it was the official music video for this song. Unfortunately, I wasn't aware at the time that live tracks are preferred. Now, I've finally found a live version with a decent recorded audio!
This is hands-down my favorite band and this is the song 'Mammoth' from their latest album (Regenerator). They just finished their US tour and they are now into their European tour. They've been working hard for over a decade now, always with the original line-up - which should speak to their personalities and how well they jive together as musicians. Every album their sound improves as they hone their individual skills and bring them together. The latest effort was no exception.
Sean McVay -- Vox, Guitar, Keys/Synth
Dan Reynolds -- Bass, Keys/Synth
Scott Donaldson -- Drums From Hell!
Anyway, Sorry this is such a long message. I'm just excited to share this with you all. Thank you all so much for checking this out. I love this community so much and I'm grateful to be here with you all!!
Cheers!

Hi Mike/All,
I'm taking another break from my usual offers from King Buffalo (my personal favorite band that is on tour right now with all new material) to share this old rare performance before it is lost forever.
This was recorded 'Live on the Radio' circa 2000 and features the late Scott Weiland on vocals and the massively under-rated Dean DeLeo on guitar. As far as I know, this is the only recording/video of this performance. The melody and chord voicings make this so great and they are made all the more clear thanks to Dean's excellent playing and Scott's crytal clear voice. I would love to see a breakdown of this song so that i can learn to play it correctly, as well as to share it with the world.
Thank you so much for your time. This is a fabulous community and i'm grateful to be a part of it along with you all. Please take care of yourselves and those you love.
Your friend,
Jammin Jesse

Sorry to keep offering the same band. I just really love these guys and i think they deserve a spotlight. They did a lot of work during the lockdown - they even recorded a live album in a cave! All of these songs are from the album 'Orion' released in 2016. They're on tour now with several albums of newer material, including their newest album 'Regenerator' (which is of course their best work to date!)
Sean McVay does guitar, vocals, and synth/keys
Dan Reynolds plays bass and synth/keys
Scott Donaldson SLAYS the drums
Kerosene is the song I had in mind for you, but all of them are great! Your choice!! :)
0:00 : Orion
7:35 : Sleeps on a Vine
15:58 : Kerosene
24:00 : Drinking from the River Rising
All the best,
Jesse

King Buffalo is on tour now with material from their newest album, Regenerator. However, this is from the end of their most recent tour and the song is called 'Cerberus' from the previous album (Acheron).
I absolutely love these guys and i feel they deserve more recognition. They have been around for over a decade putting out an album almost every year and working hard - even through the lockdown. They have really honed in on their strengths as a band and the results are massive.
Sean McVay - Vox/Keys/Guitar
Dan Reynolds - Bass/Keys
Scott Donaldson - Drums from Hell
PS - If you like this, check out All Them Witches as well!)

Another one from King Buffalo. These guys are fantastic and i would love to see them get more attention.
Sean McVay - Vocals/Guitar/Keyboards
Dan Reynolds - Bass/Keyboards
Scott Donaldson - Drums
Not the best camera work, or audio, but neither of those are required to see and hear just how awesome this band is! This song is from almost a decade ago now, but the band has been cranking out albums and working hard - even through the pandy. They are on tour right now with some of their best work to date. Please, do youself a favor and give them a listen!
Cheers and thanks for all you have done and continue to do,
Jammin Jesse

Hey Mike/All,
I'm not sure if this has been covered here or not, but i feel like i need to take a break from beating you over the head with King Buffalo requests. So, my offering this week is something Rick Beato covered a while back but i thought it was worth sharing for those who haven't heard of them yet.
What do the bands Nirvana, Sound Garden, Pearl Jam, Void, and Giants in the Trees have in common?? The answer is 3rd Secret!!
Matt Cameron on drums, Kim Thayil on lead guitar, Budda Dupree on rhythm guitar, Krist Novoselic on bass, and finally, Jillian Raye and Jennifer Johnson sharing vocals.

Hey Mike! I know you get a ton of really cool and interesting bands sent your way, but have you heard of King Buffalo?
You know those bands that are greater than the sum of their parts? You know those bands that always push themselves with each album? You know those bands that are always working hard touring and recording? King Buffalo is all of the above. I discovered them a few years ago and they quickly became my favorite band. This song is from one of their first albums, with several more released since. Their latest, Regenerator, is definitely worth the listen if you get the time (its part 3/3 of the quarantine trilogy).
I love everything about this 3-piece band. The drums are groovy and sharp, always solid. The bass is indescribably groovy - easily one of the best bass players i've ever heard. The guitar is simple but elegant, and what a tone. As they've progressed, they've really leaned into their strengths as a band and the sound is infectiously beautiful. I really think they deserve more recognition. Please, don't sleep on King Buffalo!
[Intro is a bit long on this one - skip to around 1:30 to chop it off if you want --- and at around 4:35 you'll see the best drum trick ever]
~Jesse
PS - Thanks again! You've built a tremendous resource and i appreciate all the hard work that went into creating it!

This is one of 2 singles released from the album Regenerator (2022), which is the 3rd and final album of their quarantine trilogy [The Burden of Restlessness (2021), Acheron (2021)]. This power-trio has been my absolute fave for a few years and I just don't see them getting enough love. Please check them out!!
