I really love a technical bit of metal music, but it's easy to get worn out if that's all I listen to.

When I first heard Elder I was elated. This band just jams, and they don't need to be explained.

I listen to them to and from work on Fridays. Their music will put you in such a good mood for the weekend.

I wanted to share a live performance and debated between a few of their tracks. I landed on the title track from their album Dead Roots Stirring. The recording is high quality and the performance is pretty tight. Hopefully the video isn't too long. It moves through several different grooves, each one better than the last. My person favorite starting around the 10:15 mark.
