Nina Gerber is not well known to most guitarists. But she is well known to musicians in the contemporary and indie folk, folkrock and country music world. Played with the likes of Jackson Brown, John Gorka, and Ry Cooder.
If you want to learn how to play melodically with class and great tone, study her chops. Truly a wonderful example that you don't have to shred to be a really great guitarist.
