This past Saturday my band and I were part of a local rock/metal event called Carnival Of Chaos, hosted by the awesome folks at Chaos Guitars. And this particular band blew us away with their energy, talent, and musicianship! They are an up and coming band called Lady White Rat, and I highly recommend that you check them out! This is a video I took of them playing their song Rebirth. The video starts with an awesome jam with the bass and drums, while the guitarist swapped guitars and tuned, he then joins in for a hot minute before stopping and then going into their song. Also the drummer sings as well in this one. Just check it out! Thank you!

So yeah, it's Linkin Park, and they're back! Oh man...so many fond and emotional memories with this band... And the loss of Chester is still to this day a difficult thing to think about... But they have decided to continue on. And I am so glad and honestly happy that they came back, it feels good, like maybe things will be alright again, in a weird way if that makes sense.
Give this a listen. I was very skeptical, anxious and worried when I heard they found a new singer. I like to think of it as they aren't replacing Chester, but honoring him and the legacy of Linkin Park by doing this, and adding a new vocalist. While she had a few hiccups, she honestly seems like she will fit right in, and surprised and impressed me! Check it out, thank you!

From the days with Gary Cherone, from Van Halen III. Such an epic song, I don't care what anyone says, Gary does an amazing performance here on vocals, and Eddie is just....full of soul and powerful intensity here. Please check this one out, and do a react video to this Michael, I'd love to see your reaction and for you to break this one down a bit, to help us learn a little of Eddie's composition here. And as always, thank you for doing this and for all your hard work man, appreciate it!!

Davy has got one of the best soulful voices for the blues of all time in my opinion, like in his song here, Gotta Leave. Plus, he just up and completely shreds on his telecaster towards the end! Gotta stay, and check this one out, incredible live performance! Thanks Michael!! Cheers!

Dinosaur Jr is kind of a unique band, started from the punk/grunge era, but has since evolved into having a sound all their own in my opinion. Not much quite like it out there. This song and live performance is one of my personal favorites, and love the tempo change half way through the song, and how the guitarist rips into the start of his solo. They are a kind of rough, raw, uncut style live band, and the guitarist J Mascis loves to solo away on many songs. And the bass player Lou Barlow and drummer Murph play their hearts out too!

Submitted this once before but trying again, hoping you check it out on your channel, it's an incredibly soulful song and solo! This song was written by Stevie for his great friend Charley Wirz who passed away too soon, sadly much like Stevie himself.
In the breakdown section in the song, Stevie provides us an inspiring and wonderful message, and this performance is after the point in his life where he nearly died due to his struggles with an drug and alcohol addiction, but he came back from that more focused, more alive, and better than ever! Seeing him here playing with his heart and soul and smiling and having a good time during the breakdown section is great...yet also rather sad in a way, because just a few short years later, he was gone...
But please check this out if you haven't heard this song or this particular performance by Stevie, as he has an equally powerful and inspiring solo in this song as well!! Would love to see your take on this, and help us to learn this wonderful song, Thanks Michael!

Davy Knowles playing his song Hell To Pay from his latest album What Happens Next. Davy normally has been playing his telecaster, but for this one, he used his new Silver Sky he was gifted recently.
It's an incredibly delicious groove by all three band members here, and lead guitar playing is awesome as well! Great lesson in playing dynamically! You gotta check this one out Michael! Thanks!

One of the best guitar performances of all time! His tone and technique are incredible, and such a perfect screaming feedback note around the 3:44 mark in this, gives me goosebumps every time! Check this one out, you won't regret it for sure!

Wondering if you could do a react video for this, Andy Timmons playing his song Electric Gypsy with the Martin Miller Session Band. Love this song and the techniques used here, as well as this performance in particular. Incredible energy and electricity in the air there towards the end specifically. At least, it feels that way to me every time I watch this.
