My name is Brogan and I have been watching you videos for a few years now. Firstly, I need to thank you (and Little Tommy Bukovav) for inspiring me more than any teacher I’ve had or Youtuber I’ve ever seen. You truly have reigniting a yearning in my soul to discover and decode the things in music that make me feel that feeling that nothing else can. I had lost myself to an awful addiction for years and during that time, although I was playing, I had not felt the love, sense of wonder, and desire to discover and progress that I had when I was a young boy learning to play. Around the time I discovered you, I finally was able to overcome my pride and ego and ask for help. By the grace of God I got sober and now have an absolutely blessed life. I owe a great deal to my loving family as well as you, Michael, for reminding me that I have so much still to learn and accomplish in this life as well as giving me the inspiration I needed to get to work!
