I grew up during the Power Ballad Years. I feel that one of the best power ballads of all time is also one of the most underrated power ballads. That song is Skid Row's "I Remember You". Whenever I hear it on the radio I have to stop whatever I am doing to listen to this song. It epitomizes everything that a great power ballad should be: outstanding vocals, lyrics that pull on our heart strings, multiple guitars blending acoustic, rhythm, and lead with catchy riffs that drive the emotions of the song.
