Biography
Hey guys, I'm in my mid 30's and started playing in my late teens. I had a couple bands from 18 - 25. Mostly self-taught with the exception of a couple friends giving tips now and then. I'm very analytical and really appreciate music theory. I started out with some incredibly bad habits and looking to fix some things and dive deeper into the instrument I love.
I've been through several video lesson setups like "Guitargate" but never with Michael's exact approach. I've always grown bored with them or moved too fast through the lessons for them to be effective. Therefore, I've vowed to take it slow through this coarse and log the hours.
I found Mr. Palmisano through his "GuitarTeacherReacts" videos on YouTube and you cannot NOT be appreciative of his raw reactions! That's what hooked me. I love that he's not doing note for note training like so many others do (not that there's anything wrong with that) but he's gets down to telling you what is happening with the song and sprinkling some theory in there. When Michael did the react videos for Jason Isbell's "Cover Me Up" & "If We Were Vampires", I was sold and onboard.
