I just discovered her today. There are so many songs to choose from, even a whole concert available with her band. There are some older videos of her using pre-recorded parts where she's on stage alone, using pedals to start and stop all the other instruments, ALL OF WHICH SHE PLAYED HERSELF! OMG! Michael, I know I've made suggestions before, and they're great and all, but DAMN MAN!! EDIT - I found a better, higher-energy version with a live audience.

This song was written by a friend of mine, Tom Prasada-Rao. Several hundred artists have covered it in the last not-quite-a-year. It was the first time I ever worked out anything with my looper. I got a bit choked up at the end - this was recorded on June 10, so it was all very fresh and upsetting. I almost re-recorded it, but decided to just leave it as is. *The chords that I list in the description of the video are the original chords. I transposed it for my voice to be in the key of G.

I need to make a recording of this so you can see what I'm actually doing on the fretboard. Bizarre tuning - A G# B E B E . At one point in the song, I reach around and catch the 12th fret harmonics with my thumb while still holding the chord with my fingers. My chops are better now than when I recorded this, nearly 18 years ago now! Hope y'all enjoy.

This is a little ditty I put together about 15 years ago. My drummer and I were messing around in the studio while the engineer got the levels right - it was just done on the spot without really intending it to be on the record, but it turned out so nice, it ended up making the cut as the only instrumental piece on the album. Hope you enjoy! Would love to hear your reaction!
