I see your Dawes and I raise you Madison. I truly believe she is the real deal - one of the best singers and songwriters of the next generation. This song was written after the death of the her Grandmother (Raechel) and it captures something so beautiful.

Any track works, but "I Get Up" at 00:15:00 in is pretty nice.

Some really tasty and understated major blues playing here. Some great licks to connect the different triad shapes and work outside the pentatonic boxes. Simple chords, but interesting layers of guitar.

I know how much you love a good storyteller. This one is astonishing. I can't express how incredibly powerful this song is.

For me, this was an amazing collision of two worlds; I have been listening to Josh Ritter for many years and seen him live a few times. His songwriting is wonderful. More recently I discover the incredible harmony and music of the Milk Carton Kids. When I saw this collaboration I audibly gasped. This song does not disappoint.
