It is sometimes hard to know if watching Masters of their craft inspires me to learn more or frustrates me that I will never be that good. Trey is a Master who obviously loves his craft. It is hard to find a video of his less than 10 minutes long and simple enough that I can begin to understand what he is doing. He inspires me to learn more. (Back to my courses at Guitar Gate!)

Doc Watson... Just because. Sometimes it helps to look back before moving forward.

Micheal, I am now 64 years old and have been 'playing' guitar for 45 years. At least I thought I was. Last year when the pandemic came, I decided to explore what I didn't know about music and the guitar. Turns out it was plenty. I watched and learned from many online teachers and found myself always returning to your teaching style. The progress has seemed to be excruciatingly slow but when I compare what I know now to what I knew a year ago, it is truly rewarding. As it turns out, you cant' just watch the videos, you have to practice as well. My only regret is not doing this 45 years ago. Thank You for what you do and keep up the good work.
This video may be somewhat different yet I think worthy of a 'React' video given it's fine combo of progressions and leads. (His back story is haunting.) THANX !

Believe it or not, I found "The Suit" from a retirement finance magazine. His story was about hanging up the corporate gig to pursue his music passion. A dream shared by many yet chased by few. This live performance may not have the best audio but it does showcase his style. Thanx Micheal.

About 6:40 in he makes his guitar sing. Clapton said he has flow unseen since Jimmy (Hendrix)
