Norwegian Prog/Metal band Leprous works out their own arrangement of A-HA Take on Me on the fly. Full video shows them working it out. Performance at 11 minute mark. Musora video, same folks behind Drumeo. These guys amazed me with creating this on the spot.

Biography
Been a music hound since I was a little kid, banging on pots and pans with spoons, dancing around the house, and always singing along with tunes on the radio. Then a friend gave me a broken down old acoustic that I played around with until the neck fell off. Got a little nylon string acoustic for my 6 birthday and the rest is history. First electric was a gift in 6th grade for getting good grades and signed up for first official lessons. Took lessons off and on through high school and had a couple of different bands that played house/barn parties. During college, I was really deep into the blues, mostly SRV, Clapton, Albert King, and of course Jimi. Digesting this material and teaching myself as much of the tunes I dug really helped my playing a ton. Also started to dig into the Grateful Dead and started trading tapes of shows. Post college, I performed with a few bands that were short lived and also regularly played with some colleagues for work related events. Things changed dramatically when I moved from Minnesota to the SF Bay Area. Put together a cover band with some friends and played regularly in local joints for a decade. Also started my amplifier business in 2006 with the intent of marketing hand built tube amps for the boutique market. When my band broke up, it was time to pursue one of my passions, drums and space inspired band. The project started out as a free form jam with a number of different local artists, which dwindled down to just myself and my friend William. We decided to keep this effort moving and formed Evidence of Smoke. The plan was to do purely improv sessions and take it from there. Now about 8 years into it we have a regular following and perform 6-10 per year in between hosting a house concert series throughout the warm months.
Outside of music, I have many passions. My education is BS in Microbiology and Chemistry and Masters in Computer Science, thus I have delved into a 20+ year love of brewing beer and messing around with computers mostly for music related endeavors.

I was lucky enough to catch The Band a few times with and without Robbie Robertson and they were incredible live!! Better with Robbie for sure and we will miss him massively!! RIP Robbie. Just love this song so very much. Danko's vocals! Robbie's tasty leads! The harmonies! The Last Waltz is a must see for music fans.

Not an easy song to master and they crush it. The harmonies are spot on! Very cool back of the tour bus recording. Black Water brings back sooooo many good memories.

If you're not familiar with JD Simo, you're welcome. JD is a true pro and great guy. JD and Tommy tear up this classic Beatles tune, very much in the Joe Cocker vein. So Damn Good!! JD and Tommy trading off on lead is just something to behold.

Grew up listening to Boston a ton with my friends, mostly driving around doing high school stuff. This version is so damn good. Portnoy on drums, Lachy on keyboards, so much talent here. Amazing version!!

This is how pros lay it down. Nicky Moroch and Ricky Peterson (used to be with David Sanborn's outfit) highlight this piece, but everyone on that stage is a true pro. Love how they hold down this slow groove and give each other enough space to operate.

What can I say, but I have been a huge Jethro Tull fan since I was a youngster. Such a unique style and sound, electric minstrel music!! Ian is simply amazing. Revolutionized how a flute is played/manipulated. Brilliant guitarist and vocalist, plus plays a mean harp. And the composing and lyrical chops are stellar. Not sure if you've done a react video for any Tull, but they are definitely worthy. This show happened in your back yard Michael, Landover 1977.

Adrian's style is so very unique, with the banjo tuners and changing tunings during songs, and his bends are crazy good. Unfortunately, there is not a lot of good videos of him on YouTube. I have seen him live numerous times and have chatted with him. Such a genuinely nice guy with a fantastic sense of humor.

Saw Oz Noy with Keith Carlock and Otiel Burbridge a few years back at Yoshi's for what was a who's who of Bay Area musicians in the audience. Incredible stuff to say the least and Oz seems to unknown outside of certain circles. This video features Oz, Keith, Will Lee, and John Modeski!! Good schtuff.
