Michael, at some point you are going to have to check out this incredible band...I'm going to keep posting them up until you do! I am thankful for you inspiring me to play guitar on a daily basis after many years of not, and I feel like I've advanced more in the past year than the past 30. You will be thankful for me directing you to this. Thanks for the great community and weekly live shows! Congrats on 199K and the upcoming 200! Can't wait to win that peacock blue SE hollowbody! Take care, Buddy!

Kat made the Tuesday night list a while back. This song is too long for the live show bc you need to listen to it all the way through. The look on her face at the closing note of the song is crushing...very clear that the song is so very REAL to her. HEAVY, indeed. I know you like heartfelt songs, Michael...this will not disappoint! Enjoy!

Mike Cooley is a great songwriter!
Chorus:
"Last night I slept with my boots on again,
One cut on my forehead and one my chin,
On the hard oak floor with nothin to cover up with.
You got me real good, girl, and I must admit,
you pack purty mean punch for such a purty little fist
And it's a shame to know most folks don't ever know love like this."

Live track - unfortunately, no live vid. But, the historical pics in the vid are great and the tune is worth it! As the video description states, "Modern Electric Chicago Blues Live 1978". This is HOT right out of the door!!

An old favorite. Jorma Kaukonen, Jack Casady, and Paul Kantner. WSP does a nice cover, too.
