This is one of the most exciting indy bands in music today. Their music is a fusion of Cumbia and Peruvian/Cuban style rock from the 50's and 60's era with a modern flare. This is music that will make you want to get up and move!

Modal and pentatonic playing in the Marc Johnsonβs Bass Desires classic, Samurai Hee Haw. John Scofield and Bill Frisell on guitars; Marc Johnson on bass; Peter Erskine on drums.
Read the notes and listen in whatever order you desire. Simply incredible performance from all. Non rehearsed. No preplanning. First time playing together for this lot of prodigies!! These cats are so locked in.
No video, but one would be hard-pressed to find a better first set-closing performance of any band, anywhere, anytime. Jerry and the gang play like their hair's on fire. GD at their peak powers!
The whole release is a treasure trove of goodies - Brown-Eyed Women, Scarlet/Fire, The Other One are all top drawer tracks. Enjoy!
Unfortunately just the audio, but Pop's really tells it on this one. This is the best version of this song.
A wonderful version of Gordon Lightfoot's homage to the sailors who lost their lives on the Great Lakes. It is both a jam band version that preserves the integrity of the song while the band's arrangement serves the song, not the players. Its dirge like melody sticks in your ear.
for those of us strat players, this is a great option on how to setup your whammy bar.
This is such a uniquely cool cover of John Mayer's "Something Like Olivia." I randomly discovered it on YouTube years ago and I revisit it frequently. I would love your take (and your tutorial).
Boca raton benefit concert
Features, G.E.Smith,Mark Telesca,Mat Schofield. They seem to become their instruments! (G.E.Smith) toured with Bob Dillan playing lead guitar.
He did music on SNL for years. From Strasburg Pennsylvania.
Guaranteed to raise some hair!
Johnny lang absolutely rips this song. Sometimes it feels so right to not quit #lifetimeguitargatemember
..see what I did there
What a group of musicians, taking on a classic tune and really adding their own flavor to it.
Ole 60 are just a group of friends that worked at a pizza place and started making music. A great combination of rock and country. Their story telling is incredible
With you delving into singer/songwriters that speak to peoples souls.. Here is Matt Berringer, lead singer of The National..
Matt has pushed through the βparalysisβ of his depression, he Speaks to me amongst many many others.
Highlight depression... it is hard........

Simply Amazing!
Fabulous and way too short⦠but as the man said, you know know our love not fade away!
Love seeing the Grateful Dead being honored as the embodiment and spirit of love and adventure.
Bomp bomp bomp, bompbomp
One of my favorite Carl Verheyen songs.
Simple guitar but perfect harmonies that create complex and beautiful sound
Single instrumental rendition. Amazing fingerstyle guitarist playing a classic. Enjoy.
Itβs hard to find a live version of Seed of Memory, so I thought you might take a gander at this track. Cheers brother.
More amazing storytelling from Jason, and the 400 Unit is on fire for the whole Weathervanes record. Feels like they are at the peak of their powers. Plus theyβre coming to Baltimore in July 2025!
I know we all have seen countless versions of this song, but man this one hits for some reason. This song was made for a duet like this. I hadn't seen Susan take a solo like that either. Watching Dave have as much fun as the audience shows how great this song and Susan are.
Hey Michael,
Chris Stapleton just played in Arlington TX last Saturday (June 15). I was lucky enough to be there, I flew down from Canada. I just HAD to go when I saw the lineup... Marcus King opened and TTB played second. Chris brought out Susan and Derek for this song and it was easily my favourite performance of the night. Everyone sounded amazing and looked so happy. Enjoy!
Mike Dow
There are a few of these floating around YouTube, but this is my favorite. Richie Kotzen, live at the Baked Potato in 2012. I love the jam band quality of this. Intrigued by Richie's "no pick" technique, using the flesh of his thumb for softer strumming and the pads and nails of his other fingers for more pronounced strumming and soloing.
Master class of a jam , need more of these two together
