Hey Michael! Don't think I've ever seen these gents on your channel. This song just came up on my Tidal mix. I listened to these guys a ton when I was a teen. Great trio. I always loved his guitar work. Hope you enjoy it!

I wanted to share this song because it has a really unique vocal melody and great lyrics that I couldn't get out of my head. Stripped down it's a folk song, but add on a backup band with a pedal steel guitar and you have some great alt-country -- whatever that means. Incidentally, the drummer is Spencer Tweedy, son of alt-country legend Jeff Tweedy. (Sorry for the lame "alt-country classic" clickbait attempt, but I wanted to get this song stuck in your head like it was stuck in mind. )

Such a beautiful song full of tasteful and creative licks from David Rawlings. He seems to find those dissonant in-between notes at just the right moments. I really want to learn how to do that better and would love to see you break this one down. Appreciate all you do to help us on the path thanks!

Every now and then you find your new favorite band. Friend took me to a show last week and I can't stopped listening. Enjoy

I have watched your react videos for a couple of years now and just became a member of Guitargate. Watchhouse is one of my favorite bands, they have beautiful vocals, instrumentation, and the lyrics are the icing on the cake. This song is definitely one of my favorite songs of theirs. If you like this I would also recommend listening to their covers of Harvest Moon and Unknown Legend as well their song Waltz About Whiskey.

Beautiful acoustic live original song with soul and a great vocal. Then there is the story....emotional and heartfelt. I had never heard of Stephen Wilson Jr. before and now I want everyone to hear and appreciate him! Love it.

This band from Australia is amazing live. They mix reggae/Dub and rock. Especially love their dub breaks as you'll hear in the second half of this performance

Thrice is a Fantastic Band. They have one of the most diverse catalogs you could ask for , and its all amazing. Love to hear your take on their tone and songwriting. Thanks,
Jason

Harmonies! Been a while since we've had this trio on :) Would love your reaction and lesson on this performance.

I've been really getting into this newer jam band coming out of New Jersey. They flow from Dead inspired jams, to Phish like solo's and funk, and finish it all off with amazing rock. I picked a 6:23 video showing off their rock abilities. Enjoy!

The Danish Big Band under the direction of Miho Hazama has John Scofield as a guest artist and I can't stop listening to this ... Pure joy.

Amazing song , amazing band, amazing harmony. They are in their farewell tour, anyone that has a chance to see them should. Established in 1996, one of great bands that didn’t fit into radio. Please share they are worth every penny.

Tim is such an under rated guitar player. Im also a huge Dave Matthews Band fan, but this song is beautiful too.

Michael please please please do a breakdown on this. To me some of the greatest live music ever made. Ryan and Neal’s harmonies are perfect. The playing is simply perfection. As tight as a band can play. The signature cardinals reggae switch is just so perfect.

Paul Gilbert seems to be a player that gets nowhere bear enough attention - this just popped up on my feed - what do you think?

Dexter and the Moonrocks are one of my favorite bands to come out over the past two years. They consider their genre "western space grunge". I had a hard time picking a song to post. but wen with this one

Great band with a modern 80s synth sound. Tough pick for which song by them to choose. Do I choose the one where the lead guitarist shreds, or one of the many the song with the sexy saxophone melody and leads? Either will do.

PLEASE Michael! Couch is amazing! Their originals are incredible and this cover is fire. I was lucky enough to see them open for Cory Wong in November. They are unbelievably tight. Just. Click. The. Link!

I saw that you reacted to a Shawn Lane video and loved it. This guy John Ziegler and his band β€œVolto!” is like a reincarnation of Shawn Lane with the addition of Danny Carey on drums!

This song hits the feels. If you like Linkin Park and want a new take on this song, can't miss this one.

Michael, I searched your site and could not find you reviewing this song, and I’m actually extremely excited to see your reaction. This is IMO, hands down, both the best performance of Hard to Handle as well as the finest audience recording ever. You are going to want to focus on the guitar solo, which is one of Jerry’s best ever. I’d really like to know, from a technical aspect, how he is soloing over the chord changes in the breakdown. It’s exquisite, and the audience reaction is priceless.

Considered by many to be one of the greatest Goose jams of all time. This version of Into The Myst mixes wonderful improvisation with catchy ear worms. I can’t stop jamming along and I’m sure you’ll enjoy

This is the definition of pure artistry. His ability to make a small-bodied acoustic guitar accompanied by vocal melodies sound like a 10 piece band continues to blow me away. We can only hope to posses 37% of the musical ability that this man has.
