Michael,

This is a true blue twangy jam, an ode to independent music, a double bird to Nashville and modern day β€œcountry,” and a strong piece of sound and music. These two cats are from my hometown of Mobile, Alabama and are doing it all alone, no labels, nothing but originals, nothing fancy, just passion and originality. This song is a tribute to all of those talented aspiring artists that corporate Nashville and their poppy hits, discarded. Very creative and original. Hope you enjoy.

It's always the simpler ones that are the most catchy!

Time stamp 4:37 for Julians solo... Coryell began playing the piano and drums at the age of 5, switched to violin at the age of 8, then to bass at the age of 13 to play and tour with his father, and by 15 had turned to the guitar. At the age of 16 he was accepted into Berklee College of Music[2] on a full scholarship where he majored in performance and minored in songwriting. At the age of 18 he became the college’s youngest graduate. After playing country music in the Midwest for a year (with artists such as Loretta Lynn and The Osmonds), he moved to New York City, where he returned to jazz and pop music. There he worked as a session musician while he developed his singing and songwriting style with his modern rock trio The Moods. By 1997 Coryell was simultaneously signed to recording contracts with Universal Records,[1] as a singer-songwriter, and N2K, as a jazz guitarist.

For Michael and everyone here, please watch and enjoy if you don't know about Bahamas. This is one of the best bands doing it out of Canada right now. Every time I've seen Afie play he leaves me inspired to play and to push myself to be better. Felicity Williams is incredible, her voice is as important as any part of the band.

It's a little longer, but this performance is rife with little gems throughout. Minimal and masterful stuff.

Michael thank you for keeping us all inspired to become better musicians and people.
Positivity on the internet is so important. Much love to the community, keep pickin' folks.

An iconic piece of Americana written by Townes Van Zandt and covered by many artists. This version is goosebumps- the acoustics of a wooden church and a couple of microphones, and one of the best "red Dirt" country bands around. You gotta check this out.
