If you haven't seen this before, it's going to blow your mind. Really interesting guitar work and one of the greatest vocal performances of all time.
Probably not one of their more well known songs, but imo one of their best. Great guitar riff, great lyrics, Carter crushes the 6/8, and the bass sounds great in this mix.
Michael, The Pandemic lockdowns have made lots of musicians improvise for income sources. These are my friends whoβs Friday Night Honky Tonk Cocktail shows have kept a lot of us going these past two years. Shane and Stacey Lee are part of a bigger outfit called The Western Swing Authority but these livestreams are usually just the two of them except when their daughter joins them on songs she likes. This isnβt very flashy but the harmonies are spectacular and the simplicity of the music allows the lyrics to tell their story. I know Iβm not a lifetime member yet but please react to this one. Youβll love it because, of course, they are Canadian!!
Just some friends having a serious jam session, or so it sounds.
