Maybe my favorite John Prine song of all time.

It takes me a long time to finish a song and I managed to wrap this one up over the weekend. I mostly write for myself these days and I generally learn something in the process but it's always more fun to share and I guess I'm emboldened by the kindness y'all showed today. I hope that's not too gratuitous. This one's about love and family. I'll be honored if some of you happen to give it a spin. If it connects with you in some way I hope you'll leave me a comment. Cheers! Steve

Always been a fan of Robbie Robertson’s playing. He is of the best. Let us not forgot how shocking good he was playing in dive bars at young age. I really don’t know many that can capture his sound. I would love your take on his technique.

Michael, I've only seen one video shared on this artist, but I haven't seen a reaction video of him. I thought I'd give him a go. This is not my writing style necessarily, but I've always gotten a lot of joy out of listening to him. His songs always seems to lift my spirits no matter what my mood is. Plus, he's just a great guitar player.

There are a few songs of his I wanted to share, but the one I'm sharing now just seemed to have a good energy to it. However, if you'd like to 'react' to the other ones, please feel free. I'll let you choose.

They are:
1) "First Ride" ( https://youtu.be/170GfcR1i_A )
2) And "Berkley Springs" ( https://youtu.be/-op5cj6uknE ) - I especially love his interlude at 1:38.

Enjoy!

This might not be the best of Sean, but his blending of major, minor and arpeggios ….. I listen to and practice with him the most. RIP young man.
