Parcels have many great songs, but this one feels special to me.
The guitar solo is great, the lightning and feel is amazing.
The whole concert is worth a watch.

Michael, I believe you've reacted to Foy Vance once before, but I think this song is especially interesting and wanted to hear your thoughts on how it is constructed. Something about the suspended guitar chords which are resolved only in the piano part really seems to "stick."
Wanna feel something? Brilliant song. Incredible singer. Gorgeous piano part. You're welcome!
No guitar in this one, but David Ramirez is a straight up, first position chord, singer-songwriter. I'm interested to hear how that translates into this beautiful piano part (Matt Wright). Cheers!
I heard this song in a different form played on a hit TV show and now I listen to it at least once a day. Between the vocal, the almost blue grassy feel with a pushing tempo, and the way the song ebbs and flows you can't help but tap your toe and look forward to what's coming next.
Memorable melody. Intricate riff. And just killer guitar & vocals from the outset.
I'm new here but have been watching your videos for some time and I think you (and others) will love working through, analyzing, and learning from this song: Independence Day by Elliott Smith. RIP.
It should be time stamped.
Thanks, Michael!
