Cam Cole is a blues rock street performer from London! He is a full on one man band with a heavy blues rock sound. His energy is insane!!! Super talented and innovative, he even has a weird contraption on a second mic to give him a more raspy, static-y old radio type vocal sound at parts. Super cool live performance that I think you’d enjoy watching!

Both performers do a great job a mixing melody and riffing and the sound of both instruments is something else.
Michael, love your channel and what you’re doing. It’s been a while since you’ve touched on some Mayer, and this particular performance (which ended up on his double live album “Any Given Thursday”) of Covered in Rain contains one of the most powerful and emotive guitar solos I’ve ever heard. Not only that, it showcases the depth and layered intricacies of his lyric and melody writing. Quick song setup for context, this song was written a few months after 9/11 while John was living in NYC…keeping that little tidbit of info in the back of your brain while listening will bring a new appreciation and understanding of why I think this song is so well written.
The song is in dropped D, and every time I watch this I am drop jawed. Would love your insights on this hidden gem!
The audio isn’t the absolute greatest on the YouTube video, but I did find one on BiliBili (I had to look it up lol, it’s the Chinese version of our YT, believe it or not!), and the link is here if you want some fantastic audio.

The straight audio is available in high quality on YT, but you miss the seeing the wizard perform his magic.
Forever a fan,
Alan
The first song "Harlem River Blues" is only of my favorites by him but they are all good.
Its referred to as finger picking but some of the bass notes would me more accurately described as "finger punishing".
Michael,
Been a long time subscriber from YT and I've learned a whole lot of theory from you my friend. I appreciate what you do and I'm so glad to finally be a member of this awesome community. Noticed you haven't did any Travis Tritt on your reaction videos and thought this would be the one that you need to do most. This performance includes plenty of rhythm and more lead for a solo performance than most musicians put into an entire album. There's really a lot going on in this performance and boggles the mind even more knowing this is a solo acoustic performance. And you know Travis Tritt..... He's a true guitarman! Can't wait to see if you really cover this. Been watching for a long time now and I can't wait to see true results of taking serious lessons from great teacher(s) such as yourself. I'm really greatful to finally be a supporter, through GuitarGate. Its been a great ride since first discovering your greart channel on YT!
Thanks a bunch my friend.
Your friend,
Alex
