James Bay seems to have flown a little under the radar. His songs cut deep but are presented with a calming effect that would make anyone welcome pain.
His album cut of this song is great, but this live performance would draw any guitarist in with his added solo not on the album version. This would inspire any guitarist. Love it!

From the Tragically Hips final farewell concert recorded in their hometown of Kingston, Ontario shortly before lead singer Gord Downie passed away from brain cancer. The concert was called A National Celebration and here in Canada it absolutely was.
Great vocal harmonies, a dobro, and the guy in the Selena might be my favorite things about this video. Just a good song and performance. Also features Paul Hoffman from Greensky Bluegrass.
This band never ceases to amaze me with their talent, the way they show restraint, the way they go all in, etc. They can be one of the heaviest bands you have heard one minute, and have the most soothing gentle sound the next. Enjoy!!
Ever wonder what travis picking style, jazz, and classical sound like voiced at the same time on one guitar? Me neither... but the result is mesmerizing.
