Hey Mike, new lifetime member here. This is a little off the beaten path but I've never heard anyone shred on an acoustic like this.......especially while finger picking. Would love for you to check it out. Thanks man!
Not their best song, but since it's February Seven it's appropriate. This is band you need to react to and haven't.
I would actually love to see you react to their live cover performance of Doc Watson's Country Blues which I uploaded a while back, but dealer's choice.
Sooooo........... now i want my acoustic and/or electric to sound like this.

Marcus King has performed some of the best renditions of the Allman Brothers tune Hot βLanta. Itβs so high intensity, so it was very fitting for Duaneβs playing back in the day. Keeps me on the edge of my seat everytime I hear it. Check out Drew Smithers break a string and switch guitars out at the drum break! So coolβ¦
The War on Drugs is such a great band with a couple notable albums under their belt, and even though this does not blow anyone away with shredding or technicality, this performance has so much passion, melody, and feels like the definition of a band knowing that they're all in a groove and in sync.
Also, the drummer is so locked in and fun to watch throughout this performance.
