Too young to hold on
And too old to just break free and run

Hi Michael, new Lifetime member here - would love to see you reaction to this gem from the brilliantly quirky and far-too-unknown band Max Webster. They're a Canadian band that were friends in the Rush circle, and have one of the most unique sounds and writing styles in Rock history IMHO. Band leader Kim Mitchell is an absolutely spectacular guitarist, and this song is among the very best demonstrations of his playing, especially the soloing late in the song... Thanks for all you do, your mix of knowledge and approachable humility are so refreshing!!

I’ve been obsessed with this live recording of Theo Katzman’s (from Vulfpeck) β€œThe Death of Us”. He’s got a rippin’ solo into a talk box that blows me away

I allways say, that a song is good if you can close your eyes and paint a picture, or a scenerey in your head of what you are hearing. Tha's one of the reasons I posted this. The other one is, that you don't often hear a Spanish style guitar played on a tele.

REACTED TO

Dude. This is the song by Ren for your React series.
Michael!!!! Bruh!!!! You missed the mark. C'mon. The vid ya should have reacted to was "Hi Ren". It is guaranteed to be the one you really really really would have loved to do. And . . . Dude. Do it.
Btw, he is the lead singer of The Big Push you reacted to a bit back. Think it was a Nina Simone cover. (Side note, not for React Request, checkout some of his rap stuff too, specifically "Power" and "What You Want") Anyway, Do "Hi Ren" Seriously!!!!!!!!! This one was alright compared to that one. But Hi Ren definitively way blows any of them away. It is one of the most genius songs about the battle between good and evil, especially expressing that battle as within, and that it was really never a battle, only a dance. The soliloquy at the end also eloquently states truth with a Capital T.
"Life was never a journey. With some goal at the end. There was music playing the whole time and you were meant to dance."-Alan Watts.
"Bad things and good things and great things all cause ripples across the pond. It is up to you to choose which wave you are going to ride."-Cartney D. Can't give you permission to share the Alan Watts quote but you are more than welcomed to share this whole comnent including my quote of meself. And that isnt self promotion. It is sharing Truth.
