Harmonies, Tone, Creativity, Musicality (Scales?): Dweezil tops his Dad on guitar and starts his solo spot around 1:50. Listen and be amazed. 5 Minute guitar solo that is constantly taking you to new directions from great melodies to shredding - pure joy listening.

Hey Mike / All,

The first time I posted a reacts video it was the official music video for this song. Unfortunately, I wasn't aware at the time that live tracks are preferred. Now, I've finally found a live version with a decent recorded audio!

This is hands-down my favorite band and this is the song 'Mammoth' from their latest album (Regenerator). They just finished their US tour and they are now into their European tour. They've been working hard for over a decade now, always with the original line-up - which should speak to their personalities and how well they jive together as musicians. Every album their sound improves as they hone their individual skills and bring them together. The latest effort was no exception.

Sean McVay -- Vox, Guitar, Keys/Synth
Dan Reynolds -- Bass, Keys/Synth
Scott Donaldson -- Drums From Hell!

Anyway, Sorry this is such a long message. I'm just excited to share this with you all. Thank you all so much for checking this out. I love this community so much and I'm grateful to be here with you all!!

Cheers!

A New Orleans band, Zita, brings in their jazz training and heavy metal influences to create a unique sound that you can do nothing but bounce to when you listen.

Hi Michael and the Guitar Gate community, hope you enjoy this one by Yvette Young (also in the band Covet). As I a beginning guitarist, there is a complex treasure trove of techniques to emulate and I am pretty certain it is in standard tuning. The melody is lovely and the lyrics highlight a lifetime of human experience... growing, loving and dying. It has 2 parts, so stopping before the 2nd part at 19:28, gives you a good feel for the whole thing in about 5 minutes. Hope you all enjoy and thanks to everyone for being such an inspiring community,
