Hi Michael. I've been watching your content for years and finally joined Guitar Gate. I've discovered so much new music from your content, much of it outside of my normal genres. So thank you.

Here's something I discovered the other day. My untrained ear hears a very catchy riff that sounds similar to one of the most iconic songs of the American south. Let me see if you hear the same thing....and let me know why I can't get this tune out of my head!!

Time for more Band-Maid?!
I've been trying to figure this one out by ear. I think I have some of the more chuggy parts, but unsurprisingly still struggling with the rest. Would love a little help learning one of my new favorite songs. :)

The best art has a way of resonating with something deep inside us. Beyond his amazing vocal ability, Chris was a skilled songwriter, crafting catchy and memorable songs--often with more complexity than might meet the ear--with lyrics that could be simultaneously beautiful and heart-wrenching.

Here he is, laying bare his soul accompanied by no more than a piano, as this song was originally intended, with nowhere to hide.
