JD McPherson - Ugly Sweater Blues (Live)

JD has been an under the radar artist for many years. He's known for his new wave/rockabilly style and has been touring with Robert Plant and Allison Krauss the last couple of years. This original of his is good enough to get everyone in the Christmas spirit!

This is a local TX songwriter and guitarist Walt Wilkins playing "Dogs, Man." Just saw him live for the first time and it was a great example of the power of simplicity when music meets soulful poetry.

Vigilantes of Love (Bill Mallonee) Highly under rated singer songwriter in the Americana Realm. Would put him in the same vein as Ryan Adam’s, Uncle Tupelo, a lot of the No depression era artists. 90+ Albums in the last 35 years or so. Definitely no lyrical fluff in any of it. If you are a fan of more introspective lyrics you may really resonate with Bills work. This is at the height of the band’s powers imo, off Audible Sigh Buddy Miller Produced and Emmylou Harris on background vocals

Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers playing "You Wreck Me." Great dynamics...great breakdown...Campbell nails the lead. Good stuff. RIP Tom Petty.
