This band has come on my radar as one of my favorite sounds. I started looking at live shows after they came to my town and I found this whole set. I think you should definitely check out Darlin (Second to last in the set) and Palmyra (fourth in the set), even though they're all worth watching.

Like all Jason Isbell songs, this hits hard right in the feelings and heart. As someone that has had addiction issues and dealt with a lot of the same themes, it hits like he wrote it for me, as his songs do. Love what you do and your humanity being forward, what we all need.
Bruce Hornsby is, in my mind, one of the most talented popular musicians of the last 40 years. I've loved this song since I was a kid, and never heard a version quite like this. Plus, Bruce doesn't even play piano in this, he plays an Appalachian Dulcimer!
Check this out. Yep, really.
Hello!
How about a Holiday special?
Today I am sharing a band that is very near and dear to me and my heart. The Oh Hellos are an amazingly talented group of people who have taken what are normally very "traditional" Holiday songs and flipped them on their head, creating something I believe is quite stunning and FUN.
While there may not be a lot of "lead" happening, the rhythm, theory, and syncopation behind all of these songs/medleys in this performance is fantastic.
Beyond that, there are Ugly Sweaters, Hand Chimes, and even Snow! In an office!
Thank you for taking the time to comb through this, and I hope you and yours have a wonderful Holiday season!
Keep it in your hands.
