This is one of the most famous songs in Latin America over the mast 20+ years. This guy is Colombian and is an assassin. I’ve seen him live a couple times and does the β€œNeal Schon tasty shred” thing impeccably.

1) Wicked Guitar Lick that is out of the pocket and almost seasick
2) Gb min, B min, Db7, Gb min
The 5 in the Db (F) is making it harmonic minor. But it resolves to A. Gb is the retaliative minor. Is there such a thing as A Harmonic Major? Please explain this.

Completely new to me. Brilliant vocal. Stunning lyrics. Perfect deployment of a capo and harmonic use of stepping chords to meet the voice.

What. A. Song.

One of the UK musicians I've recently got really into (he's been around for a decade already, can't believe he passed my radar!) is Michael Kiwanuka - he has a wonderful warm-toned voice, and his music is soulful and heart-wrenching in equal measures - from his second album Love & Hate, this song Rule The World really showcases the voice, and his craft at songwriting, would love to know what you think of him!

Michael, I've been following you for years but recently became a subscriber. I've greatly appreciated all the lessons and advice you've given to your followers, your site helps makes this world a better place. I'm requesting The Red Clay Strays because they are the most unique and authentic band I've seen in years. This band is such a breath of fresh air in this current world of homogenized, computer driven music. These guys have been burning up the road for years and they are just now getting the recognition they deserve. If Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis and Johnny Cash got together, there's a good chance you would end up with the Red Clay Strays. They are the best American band on the road right now and they are just getting started. I know you'll be blown away by these guys.
