Level 1 Final Summary And Objectives

You made it to the end of level 1. Congrats! For some of you this was silly hard, and for some of you this was silly easy.  Either way I’m very grateful that you are here on Guitargate and we are in this together. 

Remember, don’t keep Guitargate a secret! Tell your friends and we will all get better together. 

Here’s what you need to feel comfortable with before you move onto the next level. Please, take your time and don’t rush.  This isn’t a race, and accuracy is of paramount importance.

• Have a good guitar that is easy to play
• You know the proper way to practice
• You can tune your guitar
• You have all of your open chords memorized. Rapid fire recollection!
• You understand the concepts of chord functions, progressions and basic interval based music theory 
• You are comfortable with basic rhythms and strumming patterns
• You can switch between chords in time
• Have tinkered with different sounds and effects
