Lesson 13 - 1 Minor to b7 Major Progression

Now let's mix major and minor. This is still diatonic, and can also be viewed as 6mi to 5ma. It's all the same: just a minor chord going to a major chord a whole step below. Again, what's different from the minor 3 going to the minor 2? The roots are still a while step apart. The 5ths are still a whole step apart. But what about the THIRD? MM HMMMM :)
