Stolas - Proving Grounds

Rock

Stolas! what a band! These guys are one of my favorite bands. I've gotten to see and meet them twice before they ended the band in 2018. They are very technical and know how to bring obscure sounds and chords into a song that you can rock out to. The guitarist, Sergio Medina, is one of my favorite guitarists as well. He has a lot of stage presence when I see him live and can still pull off insane licks while moving around

One of the great Ween jams at their peak. And that's all I have to say about that.

Jeff Beck has always been a favorite and I more recently started listening to John Mclaughlin (his stuff just didn't appeal to me in my youth). Some of the runs he's playing here are so outside. How would you apprthis, to try and direct what he's doing?

Running through some of my dirt sounds, from my amp as well as some of the pedals on my board right now. I like a lot of fuzz sounds, so I've got a bunch that I'll swap on or off my board when the need or mood strike!
