Hi Michael,
I know that βthe GOOSE is out of the bagβ with this band. We all know at this point that these guys have the magic, the chops and all of the qualities to be huge very soon.
My wife and I just attended Floydfest this week and they absolutely crushed the Saturday night late set.
We got to meet them at an autograph signing and they were super humble and genuinely friendly.
Iβve requested Goose on the livestreams lots of times and youβve always been gracious enough to play them. The mods giving me their picks should be applauded as well. One criticism I would see in the chat is that βitβs just noodlingβ or βthereβs no melodyβ so I think this video choice should remedy that. This is a beautifully composed slower song with some nice jam at the end. The song combined with the magic of people returning to live music for the first time in two years combined with the beauty of the blue ridge mountains made for a very special night.
I hope you enjoy it and hope to see a reaction video. As always thank you for providing so many of us the chance to channel our love of music into such a positive community. All the best.

Tomo kicking some funk down hard! What more to say?

I find the melodies in this song and others from this band very different from typical rock songs, and as someone who tries to write music myself, I have always wondered how they compose melodies such as this. I watch all your react videos and I know this might not be what you usually go gaga over (blues, bluegrass), but since I know you come from a Rock background I am hopeful that you will enjoy it nonetheless. If you can find the time to break it down I would appreciate it.
Really excited to share this with you. I found guitargate through your reaction videos. I love your breakdowns of the chords as well as appreciation for the words and theory behind the tunes. Being from eastern Tennessee I never found an artist that captured the atmosphere that encapsulates the blue ridge mountains. Ryan Gustafson takes me to a place of peace with his music that I can only replicate hiking through those mountain trails. The way he is able to just create a space with his sound between the vocals, his guitar, and that harmonica is just otherworldly to me.
Ernesto has an entire series of videos playing songs that I never would have considered coverable on an acoustic guitar (without a backing band). He demonstrates over-and-over again why the guitar is the most pliable musical instrument.
